We have added the following new engineering services: THERMOGRAPHIC INSPECTION OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
& COMPONENTS
The most effective way to maintain an electrical
system is to detect the approach of any electrical failure or mal-operation
and take corrective action that will prevent any interruption in
system operation.
For proper maintenance, it is recommended that infra-red scanning
be performed every 6 months to pinpoint potential problems. The
test results reveal potential problems well in advance of failure.
Normal wear , chemical contamination, corrosion, fatigue and/or
faulty assembly during field installation/assembly and commissioning
may lower conductivity and raise the resistance level of some parts
of equipment, causing an increase in temperature. The infrared inspection
is conducted under load and requires no physical contact with the
system, making an excellent preventive maintenance tool, causing
no disruption to normal operation. In a new or refurbished building,
we can survey all sub stations, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgears,
circuit breaker panels, electric motors and pump/compressor panels.
State of the art testing device & experienced personnel:
We possess high resolution (60:1) portable IR thermometers that
consistently show the measured spot at any distance by matching
the sighting to IR energy profile. If required, we can provide measurement
records such as thermograms and interpretation of each frame.
