Geophysics includes the science of detecting and mapping underground, underwater, or otherwise hidden subsurface objects or features. This science relies upon many different principals to detect objects or features of interest. Through the use of techniques in common practice today, many engineering, geologic, construction, and location problems can be solved.

Demolition, rock blasting, pile driving, or any other site activity that may induce vibration to the surrounding areas of the project can be monitored for tolerance levels through seismic/vibration and sound (decibel) monitoring methods.
