To ensure quality control during the fabrication
and erection of structural steel on construction sites, Testwell Laboratories
utilizes a select group of structural and professional engineers to
evaluate project requirements and to determine the appropriate frequency
and methods of inspection. These inspections may occur on-site, in
the fabrication plant, or in the laboratory.
Testwell's highly skilled technicians are responsible for the non-destructive
testing (NDT) required in the erection of the steel structures for
projects. All NDT technicians have received special training and are
certified in the operations of their respectivedisciplines. Inspections
conform to standards prescribed by AWS, AISC, ASNT, ASME, and local
codes.
